Johnstone's Trade Eggshell is a high VOC content eggshell finish. It is a washable oil based product that is applied by brush or roller and is suitable for interior use. It is recoatable after 16-24 hours. Eggshell is a tough, durable low sheen finish for wood and metal. It can be applied over most previously painted surfaces without an undercoat. On new surfaces apply over the top of a suitable primer.
PREPARATION
All surfaces to be painted should be clean dry and free from loose and flaking material.
Prime bare surfaces with the appropriate Johnstone_x0092_s Primer. ( Undercoat / Wood Primer )
Rub down previously painted surfaces with fine waterproof abrasive paper and rinse thoroughly.
Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding.
Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960_x0092_s paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harm Ful lead.
Application: Brush Roller.
Dring: 4 - 6 hrs.
Re - Coat: 16 - 24 hrs.
Coverage: 18 - 20 sqm per 1 lt..
